"I live on the Fylde Coast where I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dogs. I was a primary school teacher for ten years, but after my second maternity leave I struggled to find a nursery suitable to care for my son’s while I returned to work. I made a major life change and opened my own nursery. After 15 years this grew to a group of three successful nurseries on the Fylde Coast caring for and educating children during their Early Years.
As my son’s grew into young men I made my next life changing decision to approach a calmer pace of life allowing me to spend more time travelling and pursuing interests. I now work for the local council as a Deputy Registrar, conducting Civil Wedding Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Citizenship Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies and Renewals of vows.
Every life event tells a unique story and I consider it a profound privilege to help share those narratives as an experienced and professional celebrant. You will find me warm, empathetic, organised and enthusiastic. A thoughtful, steady and professional hand is the key to creating a meaningful experience.
